OOps! I'm still here! We have had a busy season! The market has picked up and so has my staging! Here is a sneak of one of my recent jobs!

A little peek! AND something for YOU!

A peek of a Staging Report:

A staging report is done after a consultation. The staging report consist of pictures of the space(s) and my list of recommendations. There are often a "GOOD" list and then "BEST" check list. GOOD is what should be done. BEST is just that, the best option.

(Note, this is just a peek, just a one room example of what my report is about)

BEFORE STAGING:

GOOD

• ____ Table on the left needs to be closer to the couch and proportioned with the matching side table on the right.
• ____ Replace the white flower on the left table with a green leaf plant with light blue (to match the colors in the pillows) Will make the room fill more homey and less dull.
• ____ Remove the mirror from the fireplace. Replacing it will an art piece. 
• ____ Add a hope chest or small coffee table with a few magazines or books

BEST

• ____ Replace Large couch with a love seat (2 seater couch)
• ____ Add an accent chair (angled by the back door.
• ____ Window treatment on the back door- add color and warmth
• ____ IF a coffee table is used add a tray with a floral piece (leaving the white floral arrangement on its existing table and a short green with blue accent floral arrangement here) 
• ____ Add decor to media cabinet (tasteful and lightly)

AND FOR YOU!!

Though most Realtors will call this season (The Winter) a slow season, it is VERY far from that, especially in the metroplex. (I even bought a house in February!) Yes, it is true that there are less houses on the market now than the Spring and Summer, so get your house listed!! There is less competition and the neighborhood analyst will be based on previous sales- The peek season!! 

It is always best to have your home staged before it is listed, however, if your home is already listed, call me before you drop the price! Let me help you raise the value of your home by making it appeal!
